The largest cryptocurrency by market cap was recently around $23,350, down slightly from the previous 24 hours. Bitcoin ended its second consecutive positive week, up more than 13% from its low on Monday, at one point topping $24,500 amid encouraging signs that the economy was slowing enough for the US central bank to consider soon to reduce interest rate hikes. For July, bitcoin was up over 23%, while ether soared over 55% to change hands just under $1,700.
