“Dr Disrespect” Gaming YouTube Broadcaster unveiled the first look at its upcoming NFT shooter dubbed Deaddrop July 30.
Initial reaction was mixed, however, with some disappointed with the game’s lack of polish given that Dr. Disrepect boasted in a now-deleted Tweet from June that he’s already “blowing something” from the Call game engine. of Duty.
User @Jonesy_Actual said the game currently looks like “a Chuck E Cheese arcade shooter” while @MemeCyptum sarcastically interjected: “Dr Disrespect tried to make an NFT shooter and it looks like a **?I’m shocked I tell you, absolutely shocked.
This is Dr Disrespect’s new NFT shooting game called “DEADROP”.
This is the game he said if he took a screenshot it would blow anything out of the CoD engine.

Others, however, called for patience, as the game is still in the early stages of development and may go through a lot of changes before the final version is complete.
“Lol, it’s so early in development, but people still need to hate? At least it’s clear on the development, showing each step as it goes. Just hating the game for the sake of making it clear,” @L1GHTNING96 wrote.
Dr Disrespect has over four million subscribers on YouTube and 2.4 million followers on Twitter. He recently launched what he dubbed a triple-A game studio called Midnight Society which has in partnership with Polygon Studios to develop gaming NFTs through Polygon’s Ethereum scaling network.
The first images show a simplistic first-person shooter with a player running and shooting at targets within range.
The new game is expected to use NFTs to give users digital ownership of in-game items and rewards.
According to the Midnight Society website, it recently sold all 10,000 tokenized Founder Passes which included playable avatars for Deaddrop. NFTs also provide early access to the game, as well as voting rights on game feature integrations and a host of other benefits. Polygon-based NFTs cost $50 per pop and were used as a way to fund the game’s development.
I woke up this morning feeling so good.
Think about what can come out of @DEADROP over the next few years.
Long way to go, with a HUGE vision.
