Cryptocurrency payroll service Bitwage announced on Monday that the company has partnered with digital currency wallets Casa and Edge to “bring bitcoin payroll to an informed audience.” Currently, Edge case and Casa users will connect to Bitwage platform services via a deep link or QR code.
Crypto Payroll Company Bitwage Partners with Casa and Edge Wallet
Since John Lindsay and Jonathan Chester launched Bitwage in 2014, the company has offered bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrency payroll services to people in countries around the world. Following the company’s announcement that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight Luana Pinheiro would be paid in BTC through Bitwage’s payroll services, Bitwage has proclaimed that it is in partnership with Edge wallet companies and Casa.
Prior to partnering with Casa and Edge, Bitwage users had to provide a wallet address in order to take advantage of the company’s payroll services. However, Casa and Edge case users will currently use a QR code or deep link “without the need for a manual public key exchange,” Bitwage explained this week.
